FOOTPRINTS ON THE ROAD
Do you lead a ladies home group or look after the women's ministries in your church? Footprints can help! It is always a challenge to find a guest speaker that is interesting, relevant and topical - yet doesn't cost the earth.
Footprints offers a small team of speakers for you to choose from, experienced and gifted in tackling a broad range of women's topics (see below).
Best of all, the price is right - no group is too small to receive a blessing! We believe that God wants us to take every opportunity to encourage women to reach their full potential. We want to share our gifts, talents and experiences with others, as our gift both to them and the God who has called us. Therefore we do not charge a set fee, instead requesting a love offering or honorarium to cover any travel expenses and to allow us at times to travel further afield.

Janet Camilleri
From primary teacher to party plan, checkout chick to library assistant, public servant to debt collector, Janet Camilleri explored many career avenues over twenty years before she found her niche in writing and speaking. Now Janet has a busy and rewarding ministry/career, in a field she loves. Her goal is to help others find their own purpose and passion in life.
As author of Clues to your Calling and editor of Footprints magazine for ten years, Janet has a proven track record in inspiring audiences both on paper and in person. She has made presentations to cell groups, seminars, lectures, ladies breakfasts and writers workshops.
Raised by a parent with a severe mental illness and personality disorder, and since her own diagnosis of clinical depression several years ago, Janet is especially passionate about mental health issues, tackling them from a Christian perspective.
Melanie Page
As a high school teacher and mother of three young adults , Melanie has a good rapport with all ages - from teens to older folk. Melanie is an articulate and amusing speaker who infuses her topics with a quiet passion and a wealth of background knowledge. She has a broad range of interests from ancient history to theology and literature, which melded into two highly successful seminars on the novel The DaVinci Code when the movie was released. This is just one example of a current issue which Melanie has addressed from a Christian perspective, although she also presents on timeless topics such as identity and self-esteem issues.
Nicola Saad
Nicola Saad is an original! . Footprints team member, that is . who, over the last 10 years has written and edited numerous articles for Footprints , on a wide variety of topics. Nicola first came to the Lord nearly 25 years ago, and is married with three school aged children. Over the years, Nicola has ministered in her church's Playgroup and Royal Rangers ministries, and is currently teaching Religious Education, running an e-prayer group and working on the Local Chaplaincy Committee at the children's school.
Nicola's expertise relates to a Christian perspective on families, social justice and identity issues. She is a supporter of both the Australian Christian Lobby and Australian Family Association and is currently more than halfway towards achieving her degree as a counsellor. A former cosmetics consultant, Nicola still enjoys being able to indulge her interest in ministering to women via the medium of therapeutic massage. Nicola desires to teach and encourage others to live out their Christian faith in ways which honour God.

8 February – Taigum Community Church is holding its first Ladies Breakfast for the year, and Nicola will be presenting a brief introduction to the Footprints ministries and will be available to chat at the Footprints display!
17 February - Janet is looking forward to preaching at the 9am service at her own church, Redlands Fellowship, 29 Beveridge Road Thornlands. Please pray that people will be blessed and challenged by the message that she brings.

6 March - From 9.30am, Janet will join the ladies of Greenslopes Baptist Church in the Youth Centre ( Dunellan Street ) for morning tea and to present the inspirational Footprints story. For enquiries, please contact Marion on 3391 1070.
24 March - The Redlands Easter Family Festival will be held at the Cleveland Showgrounds in Smith Street . For a very helpful and informative talk, you can catch Janet speaking in the Pavilion of Hope on "Behind the Mask" - identifying depression in yourself or a loved one. Come up and say g'day at the Footprints stand!
29 March - FOOTPRINTS 10TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS! Join the Footprints Team from 2pm as we launch our new book "DECADENCE: treat yourself to 10 years of Footprints at Rivers Café, Citipointe Church, 322 Wecker Road, Mansfield. 1 April – A member of the Footprints Team will lead the ladies at Clayfield Baptist this morning, as they seek the “Clues to their Calling”!
12 April - Redlands Fellowship Community Church will be presenting BREAKTHROUGH FOR WOMEN from 10am - 2pm, workshops designed to inspire and nurture women to become all the God created them to be. Janet will be just one of the speakers. The church is located at 29 Beveridge Road Thornlands. More details to follow.
17 May - Greenslopes Baptist Church is hosting a ladies breakfast at 7.30am. Janet is honoured to have been asked to present her testimony of overcoming depression in "The Only Way is UP!"
24 May – Come along to the Priceless Life Centre Open Day, at the Cornerstone Centre, 81 Mina Parade Alderley (same building as 96.5 Family FM's studios), and find out more about their fantastic work with women and families experiencing crisis pregnancies. Events of the day will include the launch of Rochelle Manners' new book, “Unborn Beauty”. And don't forget to come and say g'day at the Footprints display!
28-30 May – Janet will be travelling to central Queensland to speak at churches and events in Rockhampton, Yeppoon and Emerald, including:
- a women's event at the Uniting Church in Emerald on Wednesday
evening 28 May
- Christian Outreach Centre in Rockhampton on Friday evening 30 May
- And the Uniting Church in Yeppoon will hold a ladies morning tea from 10am at the Bayview Tower International.

28 June – From 8am the Living Faith Uniting Church at Pine Mountain Road, Mt Gravatt East are holding a breakfast, and have invited Janet along to speak on “The Many Faces of Depression” – how to recognise possible symptoms of depression in yourself or a loved one.
5 August – Janet will share on how to identify and overcome depression, at a women's event at Clayfield Baptist Church, corner Alexandra & Sefton Roads.
