FOOTPRINTS ON THE ROAD

Do you lead a ladies home group or look after the women's ministries in your church? Footprints can help! It is always a challenge to find a guest speaker that is interesting, relevant and topical – yet doesn't cost the earth.

Footprints offers a small team of speakers for you to choose from, experienced and gifted in tackling a broad range of women's topics (see below).

Best of all, the price is right – no group is too small to receive a blessing! We believe that God wants us to take every opportunity to encourage women to reach their full potential. We want to share our gifts, talents and experiences with others, as our gift both to them and the God who has called us. Therefore we do not charge a set fee, instead requesting a love offering or honorarium to cover any travel expenses and to allow us at times to travel further afield.

Here is what others have said:

I have no hesitation in recommending her (Janet) as a fabulous speaker. She was interesting, relevant and extremely personable. I didn't lose interest once and she was available to chat afterwards too! - Wendy Francis, Marketing and Communications Manager, QB Magazine Editor, Queensland Baptist

The leadership team received much positive feedback from Janet's talk … I can highly recommend her. – Jillian Ross, South Queensland Regional Coordinator, Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS), Stafford Uniting Church

What an inspiration Melanie and Nicola proved to be! Thank you ladies! You certainly have servant hearts, and are able to encourage many in the stories that you tell. – Lorraine Clark, Samford Valley Community Church

Janet is friendly, interesting and humourous and brings a sense of achievement and encouragement as she ministers. She has a way of engaging with people and wants only to honour God along with women as valuable members of church life and society as a whole. She is a capable and experienced speaker and would bless any group. – Coralie Sanders, New Life Fellowship Church , Ormiston

Footprints Speakers (l to r) Nicola Saad, Melanie Page and Janet Camilleri

A friend attended your 'the many faces of depression' lecture at Bayside Uniting Church recently and loved it. - Dr Johanna Lynch, MBBS FRACGP, Grad Cert (Grief and Loss), Director Womens Forum Australia

God obviously used your story to touch the hearts of those who attended …Your honesty and openness were accepted and appreciated if the nodding heads and body language were anything to go by. - Sherryl-Lee Secomb, Bayside Uniting Church, Wynnum

Janet has a great passion for helping women find their true value. Her presentation on being a Princess of God was thoroughly enjoyable. She delivered a message that was both relevant and topical in a professional yet casual manner. We found Janet to be totally approachable and adaptable to our specific event. - Carolyn Cox, the Salvation Army Bayside Community Church , Alexandra Hills

A member of the Footprint s Team would be delighted to share a message of hope and inspiration to your group - and as we are based right across Brisbane , there is a speaker located close to you. WHY BOOK A FOOTPRINTS SPEAKER?

Janet Camilleri

From primary teacher to party plan, checkout chick to library assistant, public servant to debt collector, Janet Camilleri explored many career avenues over twenty years before she found her niche in writing and speaking. Now Janet has a busy and rewarding ministry/career, in a field she loves. Her goal is to help others find their own purpose and passion in life.

As author of Clues to your Calling and editor of Footprints magazine for ten years, Janet has a proven track record in inspiring audiences both on paper and in person.  She has made presentations to cell groups, seminars, lectures, ladies breakfasts and writers workshops.

Raised by a parent with a severe mental illness and personality disorder, and since her own diagnosis of clinical depression several years ago, Janet is especially passionate about mental health issues, tackling them from a Christian perspective.

Melanie Page

As a high school teacher and mother of three young adults , Melanie has a good rapport with all ages – from teens to older folk. Melanie is an articulate and amusing speaker who infuses her topics with a quiet passion and a wealth of background knowledge. She has a broad range of interests from ancient history to theology and literature, which melded into two highly successful seminars on the novel The DaVinci Code when the movie was released. This is just one example of a current issue which Melanie has addressed from a Christian perspective, although she also presents on timeless topics such as identity and self-esteem issues.

Nicola Saad

Nicola Saad is an original! … Footprints team member, that is … who, over the last 10 years has written and edited numerous articles for Footprints , on a wide variety of topics. Nicola first came to the Lord nearly 25 years ago, and is married with three school aged children. Over the years, Nicola has ministered in her church's Playgroup and Royal Rangers ministries, and is currently teaching Religious Education, running an e-prayer group and working on the Local Chaplaincy Committee at the children's school.

Nicola's expertise relates to a Christian perspective on families, social justice and identity issues. She is a supporter of both the Australian Christian Lobby and Australian Family Association and is currently more than halfway towards achieving her degree as a counsellor. A former cosmetics consultant, Nicola still enjoys being able to indulge her interest in ministering to women via the medium of therapeutic massage. Nicola desires to teach and encourage others to live out their Christian faith in ways which honour God.
